  9.     I was overjoyed to see TIME recognize the talented Arsenio Hall
  10. (VIDEO, Nov. 13). He is taking my generation by the hand and
  11. leading us along a path of hip-hoppin' comedy with his star-studded
  12. guests and his smooth, innovative style. Arsenio's program reflects
  13. the belief that the separation of the races is disappearing.

  19. obnoxious and offensive. And of course that's why he gets ratings.

  25.     Late-night television viewing has sunk to a new low with The
  26. Arsenio Hall Show. I was so stunned by the vulgar, sleazy
  27. conversation the other night that I quickly turned to the Tonight
  28. show. There was the refreshing Jay Leno doing his usual brand of
  29. clever, intelligent comedy. I feel sorry for the post-Carson
  30. generation if it thinks that Hall is entertainment.

  35.     Arsenio is a doll! He's smart, caring and honest. His openness
  36. and integrity are as refreshing as his humor. We can respond to
  37. more than his abilities as a performer; we see a whole person, not
  38. just a facade.
